Install Flash Player After I received the video doorbell , I charged the door bell overnight around 12 hrs; While it was charging, I started installing the mounting bracket/base plate. The door bell comes with all the required tools and accessories for installation like Philips screwdriver, screws, anchors, micro usb to charge battery; installation was straight forward and piece of cake. Great doorbell Camera and wide angle lens.

We shop a video doorbell for a while. We looked Ring, Nest, and Samsung.They are all great but expensive. When I was doing the search, I saw this doorbell. It looks great and the price is cheaper. Well, why give a shot and we can use it as an entry level testing. Since we never have a smart doorbell. The quality of the doorbell itself is great. I like it. It is not like Ring or Samsung that thin or slim, but the curve looks designed. The camera is wide-angle and has a really good quality of the picture. It is really sensitive. I will receive notifications when people close to my door. The speaker is not really loud. You have to stand really close to hear or speak. The night view is great also. By the way, the setting up process is not hard, I tried twice.

Install Flash Player Got the package and was excited to set it up. Setup was very easy and it found my network quickly. Mounting was easier than deciding where to mount it. Overall I am very happy with this purchase. The doorbell device comes off the mount to charge or change out the MicroSD card if you want (mine came with a 16GB card, I’ll be putting a 64GB in and continuous record or on all motion). There are some easy configuration options within the app interface and the video is pretty clear imo. I made a video showing where I mounted it and the process when someone rings the bell and more importantly som ACTUAL video footage. I hate going to look for a camera (dash cam, doorbell, security camera...) and not being able to see some actual recorded footage. Amazon does compress it but you can see a bird walking around and cars driving by. I’m happy with this.

Install Flash Player Great video doorbell at low price. I decide to try something a little cheaper then competitions. This model is 1080p even if box says otherwise. The stick on back of unit confirms 1080p. Being that this model can run on two 18650 batteries (which is included!), mounting this was very very easy. At first I mounted it where my old doorbell was, using same holes, but half of the video would of been the brick wall. So for my situation, I decided to 3m foam tape it to the frame of the door. By doing this I greatly increase the video to make it more useful. I include picture above. The unit itself is hard plastic, which I’m fine with. The quality seems very nice for the price, you can even hardwire it if you prefer—which is nice option. So far the false notifications is minimal. Being that house faces a major street, each car doesn’t seem to set off the app. Which I’m fine with for now. I include video to show how quickly the notification comes in, which is fast enough! I’ll update as I use this device more.

Easy installation great picture quality

Great picture quality easy set up, very sensitive to the point of annoying though. Wind blowing trees ... set it off. Wish there were more sensitivity settings there’s only low, high and off. Low is still extremely sensitive to wind... just installed it today and figuring it out, but my mother in law just walked up to the door and it didn’t register her... I’ll have to keep playing and see what’s going on.
